$200,000 in Grants for New Collegiate Shooting Programs

CollegiateShooter-275x217To encourage the development of collegiate shooting programs at both public and private colleges, NSSF has announced the availability of a total of $200,000 in grants through its Collegiate Shooting Sports Initiative (CSSI). In the history of the CSSI program, NSSF has awarded more than $900,000 in grants to 75 colleges. This year, the program is restricted to helping establish new shooting clubs and teams, and applicants may request up to $10,000. The CSSI website features guidelines for establishing a college program, as well grant application information, with a link to the necessary forms. NSSF encourages member shooting facilities to help develop local college shooting programs and become those programs’ home range.
