NSSF, in partnership with its FFL Compliance Consulting Team and FBI/NICS, has launched a new year of free Retailer Education Seminars. Included on the list are a record 12 locations. The first was held in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Feb. 12, but seven more have yet to be presented.
The seminars are provided to the firearms retailers to support NSSF’s mission to promote, protect and preserve the hunting and shooting sports industry. Seminar topics include properly filling out the Form 4473; inventory control; store security; straw purchase awareness; the NICS background check process; and a wrap-up Q&A session. Forty-five days before the seminar in their state, Federal Firearms Licensees will receive invitations, with instructions on how to register.
If your range has a retail component, these seminars can prove very valuable.
