Exemplary Facilities Added to Elite List of Five Star Ranges

NSSF Five Star Rating SystemNSSF has lofty standards for ranges to follow to qualify for its highest rating, Five Stars. The three newest additions to this list of elite facilities are ranges at which many aspects of their operation are worthy of emulation.

Vandalia Range & Armory, an indoor range and retail business in Vandalia, Ohio, is described by NSSF Manager, Shooting Promotions, Zach Snow as “a great example of what we look for in Five Star ranges. Vandalia Range & Armory offers quality customer service combined with a clean and presentable appearance that makes any visitor feel welcome the first time they step foot in the door or on the range.”

Guns and Ammo Garage, in Las Vegas, Nev., is the latest shooting facility to earn this elite rating. Snow reports that this indoor range and retail business is an excellent attraction for tourist-rich Las Vegas. This 12-lane shooting facility even offers free shuttle service to any hotel or casino in Las Vegas.

Centerfire Shooting Sports, an indoor shooting facility in Olathe, Kan., is the most recently named Five Star-rated range. The facility offers 16 air-conditioned shooting lanes, open to the public seven days a week. The facility was awarded Five Stars after evaluation of its self-appraisal and a follow-up on-site visit by Snow.

A Five Star rating reflects a range’s excellence in all aspects of management and operations. Ranges are rated on appearance, management, customer service, amenities, customer development and community relations.
