Range-Assisting ‘SHARE Act’ Passes in House

In early February the U.S. House of Representatives passed the bipartisan Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreational Enhancement (SHARE) Act. Provisions of the legislation will protect the use of traditional ammunition by hunters and anglers and provide greater flexibility for states to utilize Pittman-Robertson funds to create and enhance public shooting ranges, among other aspects of the bill. A similar package of legislation, the Bipartisan Sportsmen’s Act, S. 1996, has been introduced to the U.S. Senate. Learn more about these bills.
